NEA’s moments

Nea Tuovinen je mlada punca iz Finske, ki je v MIKKu v sklopu Evropske solidarnostne enote vse do 11.4.2026. Nea skrbi za fotodokumentiranje nekaterih MIKKovih dogodkov, skozi mesečne kolaže pa predstavlja tudi svoje vtise o Sloveniji.

Nea Tuovinen is a young girl from Finland who is at MIKK as part of the European Solidarity Corps until April 11, 2026. Nea is responsible for photo-documenting some of MIKK’s events, and through monthly collages she also presents her impressions of Slovenia.

My first full month in Slovenia, everything felt new and unfamiliar. The weather was still warm and nice compared to back home in Finland. Murska Sobota felt like a small, calm city with everything I needed close by. During the month, I visited Laško and Celje. I really liked the architecture there, and it was great to see more of Slovenia.
Daily routines slowly formed, and the place started to feel more familiar. I also got to see Joker Out live in Maribor. I had already seen them live many times before, but this was my first show of theirs in Slovenia, which was so exciting!
It snowed here, which was nothing new to me as a Finn, but it was still quite nice. I visited Ptuj. The main reason why I went there was Joker Out’s concert, which was amazing as always! I like that Slovenia is such a small country, so it’s easy to get around and see different places.
